Terms of Service

Welcome to VibeLokal. By using the VibeLokal mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use VibeLokal's social features. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Event discovery may be available without an account.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. User Content

What You Can Post

You may create events, LinkUps, updates, messages, photos, and other content ("User Content") through the App.

Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains spam, malware, or deceptive content
• Is sexually explicit or depicts violence
• Impersonates another person or entity
• Violates any applicable law or regulation

License You Grant Us

By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or our Content Moderation Policy, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

4. Events and LinkUps

• VibeLokal is a platform for discovering and coordinating events. We do not organize events ourselves.
• Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their event information.
• Crawled/aggregated events are sourced from third-party platforms and may not always be current.
• We are not responsible for events that are cancelled, changed, or misrepresented.
• Attend events at your own risk. Exercise appropriate judgment regarding personal safety.

5. Connections and Messaging

• Connection requests and messages are voluntary. You may decline requests or block users.
• Do not use messaging for harassment, spam, or solicitation.
• We may monitor messages for safety and policy compliance.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Circumvent any security or access controls
• Use automated means to create accounts or send messages
• Use the App to organize activities that are illegal or harmful

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is owned by VibeLokal and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be available at all times
• Event information will be accurate or complete
• Your use of the App will meet your expectations
• The App will be free of errors or security vulnerabilities

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIBELOCAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VibeLokal operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
